Open call for CDS volunteers
Opportunities are still open for Chicago Dental Society members interested in volunteering for two newly formed committees.
Two positions are open for the New Dentist Committee. Committee members will assist in developing training, tools and resources for new dentists to rise into leadership and provide educational opportunities. Terms are for one year.
Seven positions are open for the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, which has responsibilities that include developing a mentoring program, outreach to various diverse organizations, developing a way to collect demographic data, and facilitating focus groups during the Midwinter Meeting. Four one-year terms and three two-year terms are available.
