West Suburban Branch Season Ticket, Guest, and Student Policy

West Suburban meetings are professional encounters with a cocktail hour with dinner, followed by an educational component. These are for our DDS/DMD, CDS/ISDS/ADA members, prospective members, professional guests, sponsors and speakers.

This document was created as a universal policy that will apply to the CE program and dinners starting in the 2024-2025 season. This will be reviewed and edited yearly by a committee comprised of: Branch President, Dinner/Program chair, and CDS Director for the branch. Please note our ticket policy and guest policy:

Fee categories for tickets

  • Season Ticket Early Bird: $250
  • Season Ticket: $300
  • DDS Guest: $100
  • DDS Single Meeting: $100
  • Dental Hygienist single meeting: $75
  • Non DDS Guest: $50
  • Non DDS Guest definition must be pre-approved by committee and reviewed yearly
  • Non-DDS Guest: Office manager, assistant, other staff members
  • Student Guest: $0 for first meeting, $50 after first per year.

Registration for Season Tickets

  • Early Bird Deadline: one month prior to first meeting for 2024-25: Sept. 17, 2024
  • Season Ticket Registration cutoff date is one week before the second meeting of the year for2024-25: Nov. 5, 2024
  • Registration must be completed by Nov. 5, however; if payment is not made when registration completed, payment is still accepted for Season Tickets until Nov. 12, 2024
  • After this time, individual meeting tickets may be purchased by members for $100 each
  • Season tickets are not transferrable to others and “ticket splitting” will not be allowed
  • Dental Hygienists will be able to purchase season tickets at regular cost

Registration for Individual Meetings

  • Registration cutoff is 1 week prior to meeting
  • If not registered, admission is NOT guaranteed
  • If non-season ticket holder walks in for meeting, payment is expected at time of meeting or registration will be denied

Guest Policy

  • Only season ticket holders may bring guests
  • One guest per meeting per season ticket holder
  • If season ticket holder brings guest to one meeting, it is at no cost
  • If same guest attends additional meetings, cost of $100 will apply per meeting

Non DDS guests:

  • A cap of 10 non DDS guests will be enforced on a first-come/first-served basis
  • Guests will be accommodated at President’s discretion

Student Guests:

  • There is a cap of 7 students per school per meeting; seven for UIC, seven for Midwestern
  • Registration will be on first-come/first-served basis
  • Students are allowed at no cost one time per year
  • Additional meetings after first meeting: $50 per student
  • Must be registered with Faculty liaison with each school who will give list to dinner chair: UIC: Anna Orland; Midwestern: Theresa Lao or Paulina Sawicki
  • If one school does not use all registration slots and if waitlist for students exists, those students will be allowed to use the slots at the discretion of the Dinner chair and president.
